Patient Information



Patient Portal is a service that eliminates time-consuming phone calls and allows you, the patient, online access to your physician’s office. All requests or questions will be answered within 24 hours. With respect to security, unlike emails that use multiple servicers over the internet, the patient portal technology allows your doctor to use a single server secured by both a firewall and 128-bit encryption to safeguard your privacy. This is the same type of security that banks use for online banking. This secured system is operated by a password-protected login that you receive upon enrolling for the service. Only you will have access to your information. Each family member will receive their own login code and password. If the patient is under 18 years of age, the responsible parent will receive the enrollment code and password information.


With the portal you can access a wealth of general health information online, view new messages from Retina Associates of Southern Utah or take advantage of these other benefits:

  • Access and request personal or general information
  • Request a non-urgent appointment or confirm an appointment
  • Exchange secure messages directly with your physician
  • Access the research center for information on health issues
  • Request copies of your medical records
  • Request medication renewals
  • View your billing statement

Please note: NO health information is sent via email. When a message is sent from RASU, you will receive an email stating that you have a message from RASU. You will then be directed to log in to the patient portal to review.


Call our scheduling department at 866-874-6496 and a helpful member of our team will assist you in the enrollment process. You must be a current patient or patient guarantor. Once enrolled, you will receive a temporary 8-digit security token or passcode via email. When you have your temporary passcode, go directly to and follow the instructions on how to set up your account.
